Ski Equipment for Junior Club Members (Rental)
The WRNSC offers seasonal equipment rental (skis, boots & poles) for club members who are 18 years of age and younger, and registered in the Jackrabbit and Junior Outers programs. Due to the popularity of this service and the limited amount of equipment available, it is highly recommended that members pick up equipment on the club's registration day, held in early November, at the Adult Recreation Centre on King Street in Waterloo. Unfortunately, we cannot satisfy everyone's equipment needs.
Please pick up equipment on registration day. $25. – skis, includes Solomon SNS bindings

Cross-country ski specialists are difficult to find in Waterloo Region, yet there are several excellent choices in Southern Ontario. You are best to get good advice since it plays a large factor in equipping for maximum enjoyment of cross-country skiing. |

Larry Sinclair and his staff will help you with your needs, as the pro shop at Highlands Nordic has a full line of skis, accessories, and clothing to chose from. Since you also have trails and rentals available right on the spot, you can even try equipment. If you drive up to Duntroon just for buying equipment, call ahead to verify availability and selection; the shop opens on the weekend starting with Thanksgiving, and opens daily once the snow has arrived. |
