The Waterloo Region Nordic Sports Club is a not-for-profit corporation providing programs and opportunities for youth and adults to learn and enjoy cross country skiing.
Located in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo in Southwestern Ontario, we serve the communities of Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. During the fall, we provide dryland training for adults and youth at Bechtel Park in Waterloo. From January to March, we provide on snow training for youth and their parents at the City of Waterloo's Bechtel Park.
Our club also participates in races and loppets in Southwestern Ontario. We also organize ski trips and tours, which are publicized in the club newsletter and in postings at the youth program venue at Bechtel Park.
The Waterloo Nordic Sports Club is a member of Cross Country Canada and receives support from the City of Kitchener, the City of Waterloo, and the Optimist Club of Kitchener-Waterloo.
The WRNSC is a not-for-profit sport organization that relies on volunteers to organize and operate activities and programs.
