November 22, 2007 First Snow… Regardless of the year, the first snow surprises locals. Skis had to be scraped quickly, poles had to changes from roller ski tips to actual baskets, and the driving had to be adjusted somewhat. In the end, WRNSC members enjoyed the first taste of winter in the form of a marvelous ice crust with a bit of power over top. The Magicrabbits and Junior Racers descended on Waterloo Park, while others enjoyed a certain golf course in the heart of Waterloo. We hope you got your first strides in or at least were made to think about skiing. |
